For the Roundtable, each author is asked to provide a one or two sentence logline,
premise or plot summary of your story. (The definition of these words should be taken
to mean plot summary). The shorter the better. The goal is to force an examination of the
basic story idea. If you can't summarize it, you might need more work on creating
your clean story line. If you are writing a "Hero's Journey" story, please
provide a single sentence that tells your entire story.
That one sentence should contain at least the following three elements:
Protagonist, life changing problem, event or situation,
and the resolution or final result.
Another suggestion is that you write the one sentence that you
can use to describe the book when you try to sell the thing to an agent in the hallway.
We are not interested in a statement about the story, but rather,
the simplest telling of the story.
